5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction awarded to ActionCOACH

Back in 2013, ActionCOACH was awarded “5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction” status by Smith and Henderson, following outstanding feedback undertaken anonymously by ActionCOACH franchise partners. In 2014, they managed to secure the 5 Star status again, as franchise partners rated the business opportunity and ongoing support even higher. Now they have achieved this status for the 3rd year running as results from this year’s survey were even better than last year!

The survey asks franchise partners to anonymously rate 19 categories including:

  • Proven system
  • Products and services
  • The brand
  • Local flexibility
  • Innovation

All of these categories scored over 90% with the overall average score a whopping 90% satisfaction!

When Steven Frost, Founder of Smith & Henderson, launched the Franchisee Satisfaction Benchmark Survey that feeds into the annual Best Franchise Awards, he had already spent a substantial amount of time researching how they could best serve franchisors, franchisees and the reputation of the franchise industry in the UK.

“I had a vision for the survey and awards built on the great recognition given to similar franchisee satisfaction surveys in the US, Canada and India and employee feedback awards like the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For. The survey was then created having mapped out what a great franchisor looked like from a franchisee’s perspective including areas such as support, marketing, vision for the future and strong branding,” explains Steven.

“ActionCOACH has consistently improved their results year-on-year despite initially starting from a strong base of survey results in 2012 which placed the franchise as a finalist for Best Large Franchise that year alongside Tax Assist and McDonald's. This is a testament to Ian Christelow and Julie Wagstaff, the UK co-founders of ActionCOACH, not just for their great franchise recruitment efforts but in the solid support that follows a franchise partner’s launch and ongoing for the whole network. When you consider that the survey is now taken by thousands of franchisees in the UK, it really is a tremendous recognition over the last four years,” Steven concludes.
